The Huawei P40 and P40 Pro 5G release is just days away and the ever-reliable tip-off master Ishan Agarwal has been at it again.
Virtually anything you could ever want to know about the Huawei P40 Pro 5G has now been revealed, and it’s generating a lot of excitement around this highly anticipated entry into the 5G phones market.
The Huawei P40 Pro 5G will feature a very impressive 6.58-inch OLED display that has extremely thin bezels and a quad curved-edge setup, which will make it a world-first for a phone display.
Whilst the display may be bigger, these clever external changes will ensure that the Huawei P40 Pro is no bigger than its predecessor.
50MP main camera
Huawei has decided to make some significant improvements to its rear camera setup with a Leica Ultra Vision system that includes a total of four sensors.
The 50MP main camera will create fantastic photos, benefitting Huawei’s Night Mode hugely.
The next on Huawei’s arsenal of cameras is a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera which offers further impressive quantity.
The devices also come with a periscope camera which Agarwal claims the sensor sports a 12-megapixel resolution. It also supports 50x SuperSensing Zoom and stabilization.
The entire camera package is completed with a Time-of-Flight sensor. This will help to improve portrait photography and could be used for AR content.
Next-level 5G and fast charging
The beating heart of the Huawei P40 Pro 5G is going to be the Kirin 990 5G, which is one of the most powerful chipsets on the market.
The device will also sport a 4,200mAh battery paired with support for 40W fast wired charging and 40W fast wireless charging.
These leaks supplied by Ishan Agarwal make it look like the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro 5G are going to be market-leading devices. You won’t have to wait long to get your hands on one either, with just three days to go!
