Whilst the Samsung Galaxy S11 5G launch is three months away, the technology community appears to be uncovering leaks left, right and centre.

And the latest comes from notorious tech tipster Evan Blass, who has spilled some interesting details on the upcoming line-up.

The leaks

Blass claims, via his Twitter account, that the Samsung Galaxy S11 series will launch in three different sizes. The variants will be 6.2in (S11e), 6.7in (S11) and 6.9in (S11+). Having said this, a follow-up tweet stated that the smaller model could sport a larger 6.4in display (as large as the S10 Plus), as he has received “conflicting information”.

Blass went on to say that the smaller models will have both 4G and 5G variants. And the largest S11 model will be 5G only, according to Blass.

And it appears that we've seen the end of flat screens, as Blass went on to say that the S11 will have curved-edge displays, too. Blass states that the Samsung S11 series will launch "mid to late February".

Could it out-sell Apple?

If the Samsung Galaxy S11 5G does launch in February, this is likely to be way before Apple’s 5G launch. We have next to no information on Apple’s range of 5G phones, and the delay could certainly work in Samsung's favour. And whilst Apple may be erring on the side of caution, competitors such as Samsung are meanwhile pulling out all of the stops for their 5G models.
