At the end of 2019, ZTE announced its upcoming flagship device, the Axon 10S Pro 5G. And although the launch date has not yet been revealed, the handset has just been through TENAA – China’s regulatory agency – which has given us a glimpse into it impressive specs.

Pulling out all the stops

The TENAA information has revealed a great deal about ZTE’s new 5G handset, and the specs are up there with the best phones on the market. Firstly, the device should be running on the new Snapdragon 865 SoC and have a 3,900mAh battery. The screen is also impressive, being a 6.47-inch FHD+ OLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. And the handset should come in three storage options, including 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB options.

48MP primary lens

ZTE is pulling out all the stops with the camera, too, with a 20MP front-facing camera and a triple camera on the rear of the device. The back camera includes a 48MP primary lens, a 20MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

TENAA has also provided a glimpse of how the phone will look, with pictures of the device being made available, which reveal that the 5G offering falls in line with ZTE’s other devices.

This device measures up well to other flagship 5G phones, which puts ZTE in a good position going into 2020.
